Mother Earth can be viewed as an Earth goddess as a giver and sustainer of life. She is a goddess who represents nature, animals, motherhood, fertility, and creation.
Mother Earth is also feeling the wounds of deforestation, the poisoning of waters, and the extinction of species. All leading towards disastrous climate change.
