This issue took longer than any other to put together but in the end, we were successful in creating a lovely issue filled with that Black Girl Magic!
Black Girl Magic, is a special release placed on top of our 2018 schedule.
In this stunning issue, we put a spotlight on melanin and showed that black is not only beautiful but that it can be and is Gothesque!
Releasing on November 18, 2018, just in time for Thanksgiving in the United States this gorgeous issue took three months to curate. It is an impactful issue dedicated to black women and the power they hold.
Furthermore, during the curation and creation of this issue, we ran into roadblocks never experienced with any issue. Because of these problems, it became clear that much more work is needed in this area due to difficulties not usually seen, the opportunity for all needs to be much more readily available for that reason we will be running this theme again!
